This is a follow-up photo to my Monarch Adult Sighted report. One of the 3 female monarchs egg-laying today lay eggs on a Zizotes milkweed (Asclepias oenotheroides). These are rare in our pastures, where we mostly have Asclepias viridis milkweed. She also nectared on the Zizotes milkweed flowers.
