One of 4 sub adult males in photo still here.in the rain enjoying a bath 9 a.m.
They did nectar at their usual spots at 8, that being one in desert willow tree goes to purple Gurantica/Hamelia out back. One by garage goes to giant Hamelia. One staying up in neighbors magnolia tree, also has a feeder out. One in photo sits on honeysuckle twig guarding west side Hamelia, feeder area.
Just think they are parking it as I see them looking for others to enter, or chase. Still not ready to leave in another tropical rain event over us.
Can't find Rufous as it was 91 yesterday too hot to go out. Rain today stopped viewing outside quick.
