Female, nectaring on Gregg's blue mistflower. I don't think she was among the 4 or 5 monarchs I saw in my yard the last 3 days, which seem to have continued their migration. There is a piece missing from the trailing edge of her right hindwing, as if she narrowly escaped a bird, which I did not see on any of the other monarchs.
