again an adult eagle in the big black cottonwood on the western shore of the Kennebec River. three times recently a perched eagle flew off before we managed an image. today we caught the eagle at low zoom and then this slightly out of focus image as the bird again decided to leave rather than have its life documented for the electronic world. but for us not a bad image of an eagle (almost) in flight. we now have an image of eagle(s) at this perch for December 2020, and then January 2021, February, March, April, August, September, and now October 2021. we were traveling during May, June, and July. we will hope for an image in November 2021.
