We have planted a copious amount of native milkweed in our yard and for the 2nd year in a row to the day (9/17/21), the Monarchs start showing up!
We have counted 28 chysalis this season. We are waiting on the last 8 to emerge.
We have seen at least 10 adult butterflies, 3 times as many caterpillars at least, and now our chrysalis. So far everyone but these last few have emerged and flew off. I have tons of photos of these guys in every stage.
