The last butterfly emerged today. Over this season, 223 butterflies were released successfully, even though my initial goal was 20 butterflies. Only 11 caterpillars failed to survive, 3 butterflies did not emerge properly, and 14 chrysalis failed to emerge. It's been a wonderful journey. My only hope is that the 223 healthy butterflies have a positive impact and increase the population.
