On another beautiful autumn day with temps in the high 70's and a strong SW wind I spotted 38 monarchs from 1 pm-3 pm.
The food sources in the immediate area are starting to dry up with about 70% of the golden rod avaialble. As the wind was strong blowing the sand on the beach, the majority of the monarchs were in an area sheltered fro the wind which still had golden rod.
