At least 5 Monarch butterflies in my Peoria, AZ pollinator garden on this date, 4 males ID'd. Sunny with light clouds, temperatures in upper 70's; observed all though the afternoon 2:30-5:00pm.. much arial display, chasing, sparing, sometimes at rest on Torch bouganvillea, Plum tree or Willow Acacia; never really seen nectaring. Have photos of arial display; but 4 males entered individually, #1 very fresh with no damage; others various degrees of wear or tattering.
Monarchs seen in the garden every day this week.
