12:30 pm At least 8-10 monarchs nectaring on a patch of cowpen daisies along a field fence line and also near the house. The monarchs were there along with sulphurs, black swallowtails, a gulf fritillary, a buckeye(?), will double check that one later, and small yellow butters too. Also big bees, small bees, who knows what all??? I LOVE native cowpen daisies!!
Wish pic were larger, IS enlarged on ph, but didnt dare get any closer and maybe scare them away. It does have 2 monarchs and 1 frit in there! ;)))
