Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 10/20/2021

Number: 37

Still seeing a lot of monarchs. Just counted 37 in 1 minute on a 12' row of Mexican Sunflowers. Not as many this week as there were over the last couple of weeks but still a very positive sign of a strong migration season. Today's weather was cool in the AM (58 F) but warmed up to mid-70s F in the afternoon. Actually saw 5 monarchs on the sunflowers at 7:00 AM when it was cool but they were very still.
