On a sunny day with temps in the low 70’s and a moderate SSW wind @ 15 mph I spotted 67 monarchs from 5 pm to 6:15 pm. Due to the wind the monarchs took to their small roosts early. There is still adequate nectarine plants in the area. Night temps are expected to be in the low 60s.
