On a cold breezy day with temps in the low 50’s I spotted 183 brave monarchs from 4 pm to 6 pm. The wind was extremely strong out of the NW at 15-20 mph. Many of the monarchs were shimmering to try to warm up. I spotted several large roosts with 15 + monarchs. The night time temperature was 45 degrees with a windchill of 39 degrees.
