We were at Silver Shell Beach in Marion and saw two imature Bald Eagles flying over Sippican Harbor.I had binoculars and was able to identify them easily.The larger one was more spotted with light color feathers than the smaller one.We then drove over to Planting Island causeway and spotted them over Planting Island Cove. They got pretty close then and low, one swooped down to the surface of the water then flew up high again. They landed in the marshy area beyond a pier on the eastern side of the cove. I spotted them a short time later flying to the east.This was between 3:30 and 4:30 pm.
