I planted seeds of a wild sunflower found by a river, and ALL butterflies, including my favorite Monarchs, love its nectar! We counted 5 healthy Monarchs nectaring on the bushy, large plant. Also 14 Queens, 4 Red Admirals, American Ladies, lots of Moths and Skippers, Pearl Crescents, and today, a Black Swallowtail.
Fall migration is awesome!
