This morning around 8:00 am we counted 50 monarchs perched in small groups distributed in several trees along the stream in Parque Los Pinos, Col. Paseo Residencial, Monterrey, NL: in pines, anacuas, ash trees, palo blanco, sabino , among others. 25.619002, -100.296032 / 25 � 37'08.4 "N 100 � 17'45.7" W. Temperature 21 � C, mostly cloudy sky, no wind. The sources of nectar are mainly bougainvillea, and other wild flowers and in urban gardens.
