It's never a good thing, when our reaction to seeing a hummingbird is Oh! No! Today, she showed up at about 8:00AM, stayed for a good five minutes and drank and drank. Our night-time temp was 1°C with a wind chill of -1°C. This is the seventh day in a row of seeing her. Will she ever leave? Are we prolonging her stay by putting the feeder back out and keeping the Dynamite plants as long as we have? We don't want her to starve.
