Jones Beach State Park- on a cool cloudy day with temps in the high 50’s and a light westerly wind I spotted 12 monarchs from 1 pm - 4:30 pm. All looked very healthy. They were feeding on the goldenrod most of the day. Temps tonight are expected to be in the low 50’s with a overnight rain shower.
