Torrential rains last night and continuing today (at least 4"--rain gauge overflowed). Temps:low 50s. This little bird with messed up breast feathers has been hanging around for about a week. Today it has been staying close to the feeders and a nearby bush. I refreshed the nectar this AM. Just want him/her to get on its way South. Forecast for the remainder of the week is drier weather but cooler temps.
