Of the 50 or so eggs laid over a week ago, I’m only finding a few. It’s too late here I fear for them to make it. Even though the days have been in the upper seventies to eighties our nights are dipping into the 40s. The rest of the eggs have simply disappeared. I’m seeing ants on my milkweed which I’ve never seen before and am wondering if they are eating the eggs?
