Sightings report image

Date: 10/25/2021

Number: 1

A beautiful monarch feeding on a flowering tree. This area is the most southern point of Maryland. From here the Potomac River meets the Chesapeake Bay. It’s always very windy with rough waters. The monarchs must fly across to Virginia on their way to Mexico. They are amazing!
