Birchwood 2nd graders observed more yellow leaves on cottonwood and silver maple trees. Leaves on Mulberry tree starting to turn yellow. Ground saturated with water and lots puddles. 51F. worms and slugs. Less leaves on trees allowed us to see squirrel nests. More leaves on ground covering ground plants. Mushrooms from last week black and dying. Found 1 woolly bear.
