Over the last week I have seen monarchs mating in my yard. On 10/27/21 I only saw 3 monarchs, 2 of which were joined in what I interpreted as mating. On other days this week, I have seen at least 3 pairs of monarchs that appeared to be mating. I have a large patch of a plant similar to blue mist flower— common name is Crucita— that the monarchs visit every year during fall migration.
