Yesterday, while I was sitting at a bus stop on the west side of the 6200 block of busy North Lamar BLvd., over the course of about a half hour just after noon, I counted 13 Monarchs flying one at a time over the street toward the southwest. There was a strong, gusty wind from the northwest and the Monarchs were flying just above car level.
