I found 3 monarch larva on Tropical Milkweed in my yard in Tempe, AZ. They were 1st and 2nd instars. I also found several eggs. However since we have both Monarchs and Queens active nectaring on Gregg's Mistflower, the eggs could be from either butterfly.
