I am observing monarch butterflies flying very high almost on the thermals winds and in 5 minutes I counted over a 120. I had just reported seeing 34 in 10 minutes and now there's just so many of them.Our area is going to have a BIG COLD front coming late tonight. Yesterday I had lots of monarchs but they were landing in my backyard on the greggsmist flower. Today they're just all flying straight overhead up in the thermals winds. Wish I could get a picture to prove this but they're too high all I have as a cell phone to take pics
