Monarch, Captive-Reared
Sightings report image

Date: 10/20/2021

Number: 3

Released 3 captive Monarchs today (raised from wild caterpillars in our yard) and these would be our last: two small females and one large male. It's been an unusual year with Monarchs laying eggs on our milkweed in Spring, Summer and Fall (usually just Fall). And this Fall we've had the biggest wave of Monarchs pass through N Georgia that we've ever seen!
