It is unusual to see a Spring or Summer Monarch here - but we had a Monarch lay eggs in April which I released in late May, then more sightings in July! This male in the photo had a tear in his wing - I photo'd him at least from 7-17-21 to 7-25-21 in our yard - if it was the same one. Perhaps he could not continue his journey but could easily survive in our abundant flower garden?
