The day before on 8-24-21 we spotted the first Fall Monarch on lantana at the Chattahoochee Nature Center - with lots of miles on its faded wings. The next morning this Monarch was in our yard, also on lantana, wings in great shape. Our Fall arrivals usually run from August thru October - so we considered this our first Fall arrival. (I also reported Spring and Summer Monarchs - unusual here.)
