My husband was golfing today and saw a Monarch butterfly resting in a sand trap. He was unsure if it was alive and walked toward it to get a better look. It flew away as he approached. It was sunny and about 50 degrees. Due to several mornings in a row of frost in our area, most flowers are now gone. We are wondering if this butterfly can survive the rest of it’s journey south.
