Signs of Fall

Date: 11/09/2021

The Eastern Bluebirds are still visiting.

In the late afternoon to dusk, there have been Turkeys and White Tailed Deer enjoying apples. I see up to five deer at a time and between 9 to 13 turkeys at a time. Some evenings, I've had both at the same time, which can get humorous. I haven't seen the deer as much recently, but they tend to be canny about hunting season.

I've also seen gray squirrels hopping off with apples in their mouths - looks out of proportion.

It is 65 degrees at the peak of the barn, 2:30 P.M. In Maine. We should be having snow!
