Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 11/14/2021

Number: 1

This afternoon my neighbor who knows I raise monarchs brought me a monarch butterfly he found when raking leaves in his yard. Yesterday a cold front came though. The temperature was in the 60s in the morning and in the 40s by evening and very windy. The monarch is a male and I placed him on mums so he could nectar during the day and brought him inside for the night. It is supposed to be in the 40s here until Wednesday when it will go to the 60s again so I can release him.
