Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 11/19/2021

Number: 6

We have had adult Monarchs almost every day since October 2020. We have a milkweed garden and are a Monarch Way Station

[Additional information contributed by observer, added by Journey North, 11/23/21]:

Since October 2020 we have not been without at least a few monarchs every day. I'm a newbie who just set a milkweed/nectar garden in September 2020 so I was surprised when I first saw all the cats, then monarchs, and then still more monarchs in December when I had to replenish my milkweed. Hungry little critters. During Winter and early spring they didn't seem to be breeding very much so they may have been migrating. This season I am trying to track cats and emergent new monarchs to get better info about are they visiting on their way through or are they taking up residence.
