3 adults flitted all around a clump of wild daisies in our rural pasture that were right beside the car I was sitting in. They hung around there 5-6 minutes, and then moved on toward Bryan/College Station southeast of Gause. Sadly I didn't have a camera with me. One of the specimens had a badly torn wing, but was flying just fine despite the damages.
FYI: I actually live in Temple, TX but have never seen a monarch there. I see all the butterflies when at our cabin rural property in Gause, TX, so my reports will usually be from Gause, therefore I registered under Gause, TX location.
