Vacationing directly on beach front in Fort Morgan AL
10/30/2021 - 11/06/2021, we observed approximately two adult monarch butterflies fly by our deck every three minutes from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The math: 2(20)(8) = 320
40 butterflies per hour
8 hours per day

This is a very conservative number. At times, they were flying by 12 at a time.

The MOST amazing event we have ever witnessed and we now plan to return to Ft. Morgan every year during this time.

I'm so glad I found out about this sight and now plan to keep in touch.
