Walking through the woods to my Dad's I notice the monarch laying on its side on the ground. I gently pick it up and notice it is alive. I perch it on my hand and continue carrying it. I put the monarch on a wisteria vine growing up the corner of my Dad's back open covered porch. The monarch remained there the rest of my visit (45 min).
