Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 11/23/2021

Number: 150

Mrs. Hall's first grade class is excited to report that the seven first grade classes at Eisenhower Elementary have completed planting their tulips! There are 150 tulip bulbs ready for Spring!

The fall weather could not have been better. The mornings were cold, at around 35 degrees this week. But by the afternoon the temperature was in the sixties. A little windy, but very nice.

We made a fair test by planting our tulips 7 inches deep and 4 inches apart. We were careful to plant them 15 feet away from the building and on a flat surface.

We are extra excited about our tulips and can hardly wait till spring to see them bloom!
