I am saying this is an adult male due to the bright shining green head, throat, and perhaps upper back. But my sighting of it was very quick. It flew from the feeder across the street to this quava tree next door, and stayed there a while, though there are currently no blossoms on the tree. I watched the tree for 10 minutes or so to see if I could get a better look it, and did see it through the branches and leaves.
