[Report moved from Monarch PEAK Migration to Monarch Adult Sighted by Journey North, 12/03/21]
[Additional information contributed by observer, added by Journey North, 12/03/21]:
I walk by that area 1-2 times a week. I only stay a few minutes in the morning. They are in an area with pine trees. A couple are resting in the branches but most are flying around the trees, in pairs or alone. The weather was cooler last week, with some fog coming in but it was clear on the 2nd of December. No rain lately. The butterflies are up high so I don't have any more photos. There is California Buckwheat in the area below the trees. I do not remember seeing any Monarchs in this area one year ago but I did see quite a stream of Painted Ladies flying north at a different time of the year for about one week in 2020.
