Monarch female laid 7 eggs on giant milkweed and tropical milkeed cuttings in my backyard. The week before I had released 2 males and one female that had hatched and chrysalised completely outdoors. Shouldnt those all have been in diapause? Not certain if it was my captive female returning or another straggler.
