Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 12/01/2021

Number: 1

I found a pristine (and sadly) dead adult monarch washed up on the shore of St. Joe’s beach, Florida while collecting seashells. It was on 12/1 at about 3pm. I’m from Denver, so I had no idea about the significance of my find until a friend clued me in today. Unfortunately, I’ve already disassembled it’s body to use it’s wings for artistic purposes, so I don’t have a picture of it when it was whole. I hope that my logged sighting helps.
