While walking my dog around 3 pm, I saw a Monarch flying around the front yard. It briefly landed on an oak tree branch. I took a few steps in that direction to determine its sex, but it took off again. It flew towards the road but circled back around. Unfortunately, it then flew behind our neighbor's shed and disappeared beyond the trees.
