8-10 spotted in the yard simultaneously -- vibrantly colored, high activity, mostly nectaring. Neighbor mentioned days ago she didn't cut back her A. curassavica milkweed and spotted 40-50 chrysalises in her yard. As she has few nectar sources, and I have plenty, her eclosed Monarchs are flooding to my yard to nectar.
