New adult freshly emerged from chrysalis. Healthy and wings fully formed and straight. Emerged next to milkweed plant after about two weeks. This was a different Monarch than the one witnessed on 12/16/21. Approx. two weeks prior, saw two large mature caterpillars on same plant. Over the last couple wks, temperatures dipped into 40s/50s some nights, but stayed in 60s/70s other nights. So far, the weather has been up and down this December in New Orleans.
