This Monarch landed in my pool. We brought it in dried it, warmed it up, and fed it. The wings are too damaged to continue its journey. Over the summer and late fall I had monarch’s come to the backyard and lay eggs on the milkweed. We raised them in cages, as they were being eaten by wasps. We released a total of 70. I didn’t tag any of them, but it is something I’ll be looking into. For now our little friend is doing well.
