I normally don't see Monarchs after October and cut my milkweed down after the first hard freeze. This year we haven't had a hard freeze yet and I left the milkweed growing. I noticed a few cut leaves had fallen and started looking the plants over and counted 10 larvae. This is the latest in the year I have ever seen caterpillars and I hope they survive.
