We saw a large flock of robins, both in the tall trees in the photo and feeding on the berries or crab apples on much smaller trees nearby.
Returning about an hour later they were still in the same trees, but also feeding in their dozens on the cropped grass of a field adjacent to the tall trees.
The temperature was approximately 37F, and the skies cloudy.
