Found monarch caterpillar on milkweed. (Even though I cut them back I had a small starter milk plant that had a few leaves and some milkweed leaves that were growing back). I brought the caterpillar inside. Caterpillar continued to grow with successful transformation to chrysalis and finally adult emerged on 12/18 with successful release.
