A cold front arrived and my husband found a monarch caterpillar wound up in a ball like a fetal position. He brought him into the house with enough milkweed to eat. Caterpillar went into a “J” sometime last night. This afternoon it went into a chrysalis. I’m glad my husband found him. Temps are in the low 50’s tonight and are expected to be that way for the rest of the week.I think it has a better chance now to develop into a beautiful butterfly in another week or so.
