Heard their "laughing" as we were sitting our front porch... sure enough, he/she finally flew down to the ground, landing in the yard across the street to presumably get a yummy bug or worm. Their song takes me back to when I was 8, and outside playing kick the can in the summer... robin song was like the dinner bell, except it meant it was time to go home becuase it would be getting dark soon.
we live about 4 houses back from Lake Davidson, and the area was all woods until 20 years ago, and each year the wooded areas get smaller and smaller.
