I observed one fast moving female monarch which appeared to be in great shape at 1:20 pm MST, 71 degrees and sunny, no breeze. She fluttered around my purple lantana w/out nectaring. Then she bounced on several leaves of my A. angustifolia but did not oviposit. She came back several times in 5 minutes and gone. Could not get a picture.
